Among the many organizations supported by Central Congregational Church, none has been more inspiring to young boys than its support of Troop #28, and our Cub Scout Pack #88. Over the years, these Boy Scout organizations have brought great distinction to the Boy Scouts and to Central Church. The numbers of Eagle Scouts produced here, when compared to other districts both in and out of the State, has been impressive!
Each year, we hold a Scout Sunday, in which the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts represent their respective troops in the display of flags, colors and ceremonies as part of the Sunday worship service. This Sunday holds a certain delight for many parishioners at Central.
