Youth & Young Adult Ministries

Our junior (NEOS) and senior (WORD) high youth groups are ministries of the entire Central community and bring our youth together for service, spiritual formation, fun, and community.  All youth are welcome, wherever they are on life's journey and exactly because of who they are.  Both NEOS & WORD are Open & Affirming Groups.  For more information, email The Reverend Aidan Kelley at

Micah 6:8"What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Confirmation at Central is open to all 9th graders and older youth who have not yet been confirmed.  Confirmation is a year-long journey of spiritual discovery and exploration facilitated by weekly class discussions, deacon mentor relationships, and an overnight Confirmation retreat.  Confirmands reflect on their experience and faith journey through composing a personal statement of faith.  Contact Aidan at for additional information.

The Hyggeligt Fellowship is based on the Danish culture of hygge which translates to an atmosphere of coziness, warmth, and good company.  We gather for a time of conversation (usually around a particular theme) and goodies.  Our Hyggeligt Fellowship meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:15 PM in the Fireplace Room at Central.  All are welcome to join!  Follow our Facebook Group by clicking the icon at the top of this page.
