Black History Month

Friday, Feb. 3, 11 am

In honor of Black History Month, Hamilton House is hosting a retrospective of American racial and gender equality struggles, breakthroughs, sharing culture, and experiences through cultural, social, and political lenses. In addition to traditional speakers, the series features storytellers, documentary producers, and interpretive performances.  This Friday, Keith Stokes, from Providence’s Office of Economic Opportunity, will discuss the city’s reparations initiative in “Closing the Racial Wealth Gap.”
