Fourth Thursday Book Group

Thursday, Feb. 22, 12:30 pm

This month, the Fourth Thursday Book Group will discuss “A Woman of No Importance: The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II,” by Sonia Purnell. Rejected from the foreign service because of her gender and prosthetic leg, Virginia Hall talked her way into Churchill’s spy organization, becoming the first woman deployed to occupied France. Email Ann Scott for a Zoom invitation.
