We have all struggled through severe snow storms this winter and many churches have cancelled Sunday morning worship. Central’s archives do not reveal, in the over 150 years since our founding, that the church has ever closed its doors for Sunday worship due to severe weather. In keeping with this long tradition, and in solidarity with Christians throughout the world, we will continue holding worship on Sunday mornings for those who are able to safely attend. YRNO Video
Claudia wanted to share this video and news about Central’s adult mission trip to New Orleans last October. Central teamed up with Youth Rebuilding New Orleans (YRNO), a group that rehabs houses damaged in Hurricane Katrina for teachers. Our mission team helped in rebuilding a house on Hope Street. YRNO made a video of Central’s mission group to enter in the Drew Brees Dream Foundation’s Super Service Challenge, which awards prizes to nonprofits who enter the competition.
