YRNO Video

Claudia wanted to share this video and news about Central’s adult mission trip to New Orleans last October.  Central teamed up with Youth Rebuilding New Orleans (YRNO), a group that rehabs houses damaged in Hurricane Katrina for teachers.  Our mission team helped in rebuilding a house on Hope Street. YRNO made a video of Central’s mission group to enter in the Drew Brees Dream Foundation’s Super Service Challenge, which awards prizes to nonprofits who enter the competition.  Central’s video was one of the winners and was part of the $29,000 grant awarded to YRNO! … [Read More]

Invitation to all Poets

Everybody at Central is a potential poet, and everybody has done some traveling, at the very least in the imagination.

  • So write about it!
  • Make it unforgettable
  • Entertain others with it.

Every trip is different; some bring adventures, many the unexpected.

And then there is also the journey of life, exciting and dangerous. If we are lucky we find the right companions with whom we can share our impressions, who roam with us and like our travel songs.

Please send your poems to poetlaureate@centralchurch.us.

Bon voyage!
