The Rev. Dr. Gary Mason – a Methodist minister who played an integral role in the Northern Ireland peace process – will speak at Central’s nineteenth Darrell West Lecture. Rev. Mason’s lecture will address the dynamics of religious fundamentalism and sectarian violence, drawing on lessons from the Northern Ireland “Troubles” and his recent work in the United States and Middle East. There will be a reception for the Central community at 5:30 pm in the Fireplace Room. The cost is $10 per person. RSVP to the Church Office by Monday, Sep. 28.
