Congregational Meeting

Sunday, Jan. 26, 11:30 am

Your presence and input are crucial to Central’s first Congregational Meeting of the new year.  We’ll be reviewing the tentative budget for 2025/26. The budget determines what we can accomplish as a church during the coming fiscal year. Nursery care will be provided so parents can attend the meeting.  Please join us in Chapel Hall after worship.

The Reverend Patrick Faulhaber’s Installation

Sunday, Jan. 12, 2 pm

A year ago, we called Patrick Faulhaber as Central’s new senior minister. We did this with a sense of hope and possibility – and the belief that his gifts, skills, vision, and passion were uniquely suited to Central’s mission and action. This service of Installation is official recognition of this call – a way of affirming the movement of the Holy Spirit that participated with us in the process, and that called this leader to this place at this time. Please come and celebrate with us!

Presentation: Camino de Santiago

Sunday, Jan. 12, 12 noon

This month, the Gallery features “Pilgrim Steps,” a visual transcription of pilgrimages made by artist Mary Dorsey Brewster. Camino de Santiago has been an important Christian tradition for 1,000 years. Culminating in the city of Santiago de Compostela – believed to be the resting place of the apostle James – the route covers 500 miles across the northern Spain. Mary will share her personal experience walking the Camino de Santiago and how it inspired her painting. Join us in Chapel Hall.
