We‘ll meet at Stages of Freedom at 10 Westminster Street in Providence.
Youth Mission Sunday
Sunday, Oct. 16, 10:30 am
CCC Youth will lead the worship service and share their experiences and insights about their remarkable summer mission trip to Rainelle, W.V. Over the course of one week in July, the group gardened, cleaned, washed windows, and worked at a nursing home and thrift shop. They came back determined to do more and to continue their mission work here in Providence.
WORD Clothing Drive
Deadline: Sunday, Oct. 9, 11:30 am
WORD, led by Simone Punchak, has worked with Clothes to Kids to organize a clothing drive for children in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Pick up a flyer in the Gallery to see what items are needed most. Please leave your contributions in the collection box in Chapel Hall. Sunday, Oct. 9, is the last day to donate.
Camp Street Ministries
Pre-COVID, Centralites brought non-perishable foods every Sunday for Camp Street Ministries’ food pantry. Now, it’s time to help fill their shelves once again! Think soup, pasta, cereal, rice, canned fish, meat, fruit, and vegetables, as well as sauces, spices and condiments. Please bring food items to Worship and leave them in the baskets inside the sanctuary doors – or drop them off in the church office during the week.
