A Time of Service
Sunday, Jan. 21, 11:30 am
Take time with others to feel God’s love and to put His love into action. Join us in Chapel Hall immediately after Sunday Worship for crafts and activities that reach out to people both within and outside our church community. We’ll make prayer rocks, cards of caring, welcome bookmarks, origami peace cranes – and assemble bags for unhoused individuals. Questions? Contact Judy.
Countdown to $1.25 Million
As of mid-December 2022, The Campaign to Reimagine Chapel Hall has raised more than $1,030,000 of its $1.25 million goal. Please consider a gift to celebrate this great achievement. Gifts may be made on the Central website, via pledge card, or by calling Antonia Greco, at 401-331-1960 – and fulfilled over three years.
Epiphany Fest
Saturday, Jan. 7, 10 am
Calling all Wise Ones … or those who wish to be one. We’re celebrating Epiphany, the Magi’s arrival in Jerusalem to pay homage to Baby Jesus. We’ll make crowns and stars, go on a “long journey” following a star … and enjoy refreshments along the way. While designed for children, Centralites of all ages are encouraged to attend. Join us in the Fireplace Room!
CCC Youth Reunion
Saturday, Dec. 24, 12 midnight
We’re reviving a long-standing holiday tradition. Young adults and older teens are invited to stay after the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service to reconnect with old friends. They’ll enjoy refreshments, share what’s happening in their lives, and reflect on favorite memories of Central. We’ll get together in the Fireplace Room.
Celtic Advent Calendars
This colorful advent calendar reminds us to practice grace in our lives, providing ideas every day from Nov. 15 to Jan. 6 – and they’re free for the taking! Pick up one or more at the Welcome Table in Chapel Hall. It’s a lovely gift and great way to share your faith! Questions? Ask Claudia.
Christmas Pageant Dress Rehearsal
Saturday, Dec. 17, 10:30 am
Each year, Central’s first through sixth graders reenact the Christmas story as only children can. They’ll tell of Mary and Joseph’s travel to Bethlehem and Jesus’ humble birth in the manger – celebrated by choirs of angels, shepherds, and mysterious Wise Ones bearing precious gifts. Invite your extended family and friends to Worship for this year’s performance on Dec. 18!
